You asked. We answered.

Q: Do you sell at a Farmers' Market?

A: Yes! We sell at the Severna Park Farmers' Market, located in Anne Arundel County at the Jones Station Rd Park & Ride. The Farmers' Market runs Saturday mornings 8am - 12noon, April - October. Call ahead to confirm we'll be there that week. 410.755.6677.

Q: What is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

A: A CSA is a way for you to invest in a local farmer or grower, by paying the farmer for a "share" of the upcoming growing season's produce. In exchange, you receive a subscription of weekly produce, and the farmer (Walt) gains a source of income before the growing season begins.

Q: What does buying a CSA "share" mean?

A: Buying a "share" means that you subscribe to a seasonal service of produce from Wallin Organic Farm. Since it is a share, the shareholder (you) reaps the benefits of a bountiful growing season, but also has the potential of sharing in a poor growing season (i.e. a Sahara-like dry spell, or Noah-like wet spell). You pay upfront for a weekly subscription of local vegetables from the Farm. After your payment, you will receive a weekly subscription of a share's worth of produce during the growing season, for a set number of weeks.

Q: How much food is in one "share"?

Q: How do I receive my weekly CSA share?

Q: Do you also sell wholesale?

A: The weekly "box" will vary in quantity, but generally can provide for 2-4 people's worth of vegetables for a week.

A: CSA pickup is located at the farm. The pickup day will be determined before the season begins. For directions, visit the "Contact" tab at the top of the page.

A: Yes! When we have a surplus, we sell wholesale. Please call 410.755.6677 to enquire about the particulars.
